The conventions used in this video are good because of the use of darkness constantly, scary music and fast paced takes. The camera shots used helped to keep the audience on edge while watching the video. The use of the fast paced short takes allows the audience to stay interested with the video. The flashing images and sped up takes keep the audience wondering what will happen next.
The things I didn't like about this video was the ending, it didn't make me want to watch it and just made me dislike the video in the end. There is no apparent story line and only confused me when the diary entries showed up, i like the idea of them but they just didn't seem to connect to the video overall.
